Best. Effing. Weekend. Ever!!!

Alrighty so Friday, totally didn't have school. 'Twas exceedingly nice. Although I did have to visit the good ol' BMV no less than 3 times, trying to get the proper address put on my driver's lisence---argh! But besides that, lovely day.

And then came Saturday, the day of awesomeness! So first, I had to go play the piano for my niece because she was playing a flute piece for a contest and I was her accompanist, and she got a gold medal, yay! I was so proud, she played wonderfully. Then after that there was random not-doing-muchness for a bit, and then, my PAR-TAY!!! woo!!! So yeah, people started getting here and we hung out for a bit and I opened my presents and we had pizza and good such fun, and I got some totally awesome presents, and then, THEN, we went ROLLER-SKATING!!!! It was the best evening I've had since I-don't know-when. Had three beautiful wipe-outs, but GOD was it FUN!!! And they played the birthday song and everybody in the place sang to me and I felt so special :D

Then after that we went back to my house and had cake and ice cream and watched Monty Python & the Holy Grail, which I've seen far too many times but honestly, with this crowd it never gets old. We're the people who sit there shouting the lines before they even say them---it's great.

Then the people who live nearby went home, and just Mia and Kim and Jorie were left because they live far away and were staying the night. So we all got ready for bed, and Mia and Jorie fell right asleep, but Kim and I stayed up for awhile....we've got a long and tangled history, and there's been some weird shit going on between us, but we stayed up and talked for quite awhile and I think we got a lot of stuff worked out---it was definitely good, some definite healing going on there, finally. ^_^

So then we finally went to bed, and then in the morning we went to the mall for some SHOPPING! woo! and it was great fun. And then they had to go home and I had to go to work and that was the end of my wonderful weekend, but GOD was it WONDERFUL! Unforgettable. Definitely my best birthday ever (even though my actual birthday's not til tomorrow) (well actually no, now it's today because it's after midnight! WOO! I'm 18!!! YEYAH!!!!) :D

Okay well I think that's about it for now. I feel all warm and fuzzy now so I'm going to bed and grin until I fall asleep. :D G'night!
